I want to thank the Red Car driver who picked up my daughter and little granddaughter (4) on August 28th to drive them to the airport where they began their extremely long trip back home to Tasmania. He was a thoughtful and kind driver, and was exceptionally helpful with their luggage both in Guelph and at Pearson airport. My husband and I have used Red Car service on many occasions and will continue to recommend it to family and friends. Keep up the great service!
Kevin and Red Car Service were fantastic as a shuttle service at our wedding in Elora. Communication was great and timely. They took the guess work out and made transportation stress free. Would recommend!!
This is a mixed review. Driver and service to the airport was exceptional. The driver went out of his way to accommodate my disability needs (noted on the order but no one ever read).
Coming back was horrific. Long wait with no communication even after I called the office and was on hold for at least 10 minutes. Driver said he was there but we saw from the security monitors that he was not. It took at least one hr to leave the airport even tho I had no checked luggage. He still had to pickup at the other terminal. When he dropped me at home there was no assistance to my front porch with a heavy bag.
Will not book again and not recommend. Apologies to Driver #1 who was exemplary.
I have been using Red Car for years and I have always been very happy. But a recent trip made me a raving fan.
We we’re running late getting to the airport because of very bad traffic. The driver offered for us to go on the 407 to get their quicker. I agreed of course.
When we arrived at the airport (in time for my flight) I asked the driver what I owed for the 407. “No charge sir”. And he thanked me for using Red Car.

No problems with booking and pickup and was smooth but had an issue at the airport where the driver made a comment that was really embarrassing to me. I made a mistake as a result of a misunderstanding and rather than ignore it or even try to explain, she instead chose to make a disrespectful comment. A driver taking passengers to the airport should understand that not everyone has the same customs. A Good driver would anticipate potential confusion and help prevent it. I hope not to have to use this company again.
Service was ok. Driver was very nice and the car was clean and comfortable. For me the frustrating thing was the fact that we waited an hour at the airport for other passengers who were arriving on different flights joining us in the same transport car. We were not aware that this is how the booking works. We would have been ok with it except for the fact that the website is not upfront whatsoever that clients will likely have to wait upwards of an hour after checking in for a pre-booked car. The website implies that if you have a reservation, a car will be waiting at the airport for you when your flight arrives. This might be the case for passengers arriving on the last flight booked but as a client we have no way of knowing that our car was booked with passengers on another flight that arrived 1 hr after ours. I wouldn’t have minded waiting if I knew this ahead of time but it was a frustrating thing to find out after a tiring day of travelling, when the transportation was booked in advance. I felt that this was not very upfront on Red Car’s behalf and wish we had been provided with that information upon booking.
